Welcome to Evliya Travels, inspired by the legendary journeys of Ottoman explorer Evliya Çelebi.
Our Story
Evliya Travels was founded by two young British Muslims who share your passion for Islamic history, adventure, and cultural exploration. Like many, we struggled to find trips that were authentic, hassle-free, and deeply connected to our heritage—so we created them. More than just a travel company, Evliya Travels is a social enterprise. We believe that travel should be about more than just visiting new places—it should be a way to revive lost histories, deepen our understanding of faith, and build lasting connections with a like-minded community.
Inspired by Evliya Çelebi, the legendary Ottoman traveller, we craft journeys that let you walk in the footsteps of history. Whether it’s rediscovering Al-Andalus, reflecting on the past in Srebrenica, exploring the Ottoman streets of Istanbul, or embarking on a spiritually fulfilling Umrah, our trips are designed to be immersive, engaging, and stress-free.
